I have a Smart Dual Band 1800/2100 Model JS-DB1800/2100. The system does not work in a rural area where I get 1/2 bars on a cell phone (Vodacom and MTN). The screen does not show any signals. In my home where I have a full signal without boosting the device shows the following S1:BS 5 bars – 68dbms S1:MS 1 bar + 02dbms I am wanting to boost 4G data signals that sometimes drop to 3G. I have used a variety of devices, from routers, to mobile hotspots and an iPhone. Do have the right device? How do I test if the device is working? Do I need a different aerial? The positioning of the aerial does not seem to make a difference (I climbed on the roof to try and improve the signal.

  • Dear Valued customer Thank you for your questions A I can see the signal which you get outside is weak you need to adjust the external antenna and try to position it in a direction which you get better signal. The numbers which you have received are not correct. The range for the external antenna is _50 to _59 and for the internal antenna it should be +10 to +20 If you have one of our products I would recommend you send an email to us with pictures of the screen so we can assist you further Regards, Mia Davis sales and support agent
